Helping create an inclusive and inspiring place for the community

Welcome to Dalton Community Association

Dalton Community Association (DCA) is a small local charity which operates from Dalton Community Centre, Dalton-in-Furness.
The Association is managed by local trustees who meet once a month to administer the governance of the Association and building.
The trustees are all volunteers integral to good governance of the organisation.

The trustees have raised over  £750K since 2008 to develop the building and facilities to create a thriving Community Centre.

There are many user groups that utilise the building (800-1000 people per week). Regular users include:  The Community Police Team, Dalton Library, Furness Spiritualists, Dalton Film Club,
Drop Zone Youth Projects, the Army Cadets and many, many more.
